Mike Ryan Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Mike Ryan Memorial Scholarship, established by Mabel M. Ryan in memory of her husband, supports graduating seniors from Spencer County high schools pursuing post-secondary education. Preference is given to those seeking vocational training. This annual, renewable scholarship aims to assist students demonstrating good academic standing and financial need, contributing to their educational advancement through the Community Foundation Alliance.

The Spencer County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation Alliance, a network of nine community foundations serving counties in southwestern Indiana.
Community Scholarship Program
Many of our donors have honored their loved ones, communities, high schools, colleges, or professions by endowing scholarship opportunities through the Community Foundation. We administer separate scholarship funds established by individuals, families, corporations, and organizations to assist local students in pursuit of advanced education. Together, these scholarships make up our Community Scholarship Program.

For graduating seniors of any Spencer County high school pursuing post-secondary education at any accredited educational institution. Preference will be given to students pursuing post-secondary vocational education. Applicants must demonstrate good academic standing and financial need.
Renewal Details
May be renewable for consecutive sophomore, junior, and senior years. Renewal award amounts may differ from the original award.
