Our Mission Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles (SSAR), a not-for-profit organization established to advance research, conservation, and education concerning amphibians and reptiles, was founded in 1958. It is the largest international herpetological society, and is recognized worldwide for having the most diverse program of publications, meetings, and other activities. Metallinou Postdoctoral Travel Award The Metallinou Postdoctoral Travel Award provides support for postdoctoral fellows to attend and present their research at the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists (JMIH) and meet and interact with leaders in the field, which comes at a key time in their careers when they are seeking permanent positions. Awards are open to postdocs from all countries. This year’s awards will provide funding for the JMIH in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, July 9-13, 2025. Funding One or more awards up to US$1000 will be made.
