The following requests will generally not be considered:Grants to individualsGrants supporting endowment or general fund drivesOperating budgets of United Way agenciesOperational deficitsProjects of religious or sectarian organizations principally benefiting their own membershipProjects that relate to influencing elections or promoting political activitiesLower priority is given to:Projects would more appropriately be supported through broad grassroots community support.Projects that clearly would be implemented without a grant from this foundation.Building fund drives and general operating support.
