Program Description

The Mentored Investigator Grant supports early-career researchers conducting ovarian cancer research. Recipients are postdoctoral fellows and early-career investigators working under mentorship at research institutions.

Research Focus Areas

Based on current grantees, the program funds research in:
• Cancer-associated fibroblasts and drug resistance
• Quiescent ovarian cancer cells and chemotherapy resistance
• IL-1α signaling and metastatic ovarian cancer
• Cancer stem cells and therapy resistance
• PARP inhibitor resistance in BRCA-associated ovarian cancer
• Long non-coding RNAs in cancer progression

Eligibility

• Postdoctoral fellows and early-career investigators
• Must have doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in relevant field
• Must be working under mentorship of established researcher
• Research must focus on ovarian cancer
