Melvin File Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scholarship funded through a generous gift from a portion of the Melvin File Estate. Mr. File believed that giving a gift to Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems would be the best way to benefit the community as a whole. The hospital and Foundation work together to offer this scholarship to students interested in pursuing a medical career.

Application Process

2. Submit by April 1 for consideration in the upcoming academic year (applications after this date may not be considered for the immediate upcoming academic year)
3. Awards will be communicated prior to end of May each year
