In 2025, San Diego Foundation awarded a record-breaking $5.5 million in scholarships to nearly 1,400 students.Eligibility

Meghan Haggblade ScholarshipMeghan Haggblade Scholarship applicants should:Have resided in San Diego County for at least one year Be graduating high school seniors attending Morse, Lincoln, or Crawford high school, or a school in the Sweetwater Union High School District, or any high school in the City Heights or El Cajon regionsPlan to attend a community college or four-year university in CaliforniaHave a demonstrated passion for the environmentHave a minimum unweighted GPA between 2.0-3.5 on a 4.0 scaleWho Should Apply?Even if you’re not a straight-A, star athlete or student body president, we have scholarship opportunities if you have:Commitment to your educationPotential for success in collegeParticipation in community service, extracurricular activities and/or work experienceFree Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or CA Dream Act are required to apply.Ineligibility
