McLaughlin-Wilson Scholarship Fund The McLaughlin-Wilson Scholarship Fund was created in 1994 by Edith Wilson in memory of her long-time friend Marjorie McLaughlin. Ms. Wilson, who was a painter, sculptor and designer, moved to Monterey in 1942. The scholarship was created as a resource for residents of the Town of Monterey, Mass., to assist in a significant way children who want to pursue a post-secondary education. “Monterey is a spirited village where intelligent children grow. Miss Marjorie McLaughlin and I have enjoyed their progress over the past half-century.
