McLaughlin-Wilson Scholarship Fund Grant

The McLaughlin-Wilson Scholarship Fund, established in 1994 by Edith Wilson, supports residents of Monterey, MA, in accessing post-secondary education. Created in memory of Marjorie McLaughlin, this fund reflects Wilson's commitment to aiding the educational pursuits of local youth. The McLaughlin-Wilson Scholarship Fund was created in 1994 by Edith Wilson in memory of her long-time friend Marjorie McLaughlin. Ms. Wilson, who was a painter, sculptor and designer, moved to Monterey in 1942. The scholarship was created as a resource for residents of the Town of Monterey, Mass., to assist in a significant way children who want to pursue a post-secondary education.

Eligibility

High school graduates who are residents of Monterey, MA, and physically lived within the Town of Monterey during a majority of both their junior and senior years of high school; an exception would be made for boarding school students.
