Serving as a catalyst, the Foundation provides support for programs in the arts, community development, education, health, and human services. Generous Miami County donors, through restricted scholarship funds, provide annual scholarships for County residents pursuing post-high school education in any accredited college, trade/vocational, nursing, or health-related facility. Grants The Miami County Foundation is committed to sharing resources and advancing our communities in order to create possibilities for people within Miami County, Ohio. Purpose To solicit, receive and administer assets exclusively for charitable purposes that would most effectively assist, encourage, and promote the health, education and welfare of the citizens of Miami County.

Funds/services should be provided directly to citizens of Miami County, Ohio.School, Municipality or Tax-exempt non-profit organization classified by IRS as a 501(c)(3) or equivalent organization.Organizations providing services to a school within Miami County will be required to submit a letter of support from that school's principal or superintendent. Non-Miami County organizations must exemplify service to the residents of Miami County and also submit a letter of support.

Ineligibility

Grants will not be considered for the following:A program/project that has or will have already been completed within two months of this grant submission deadlineA purchase that has already been madeOrganizations that only serve one religious groupPolitical organizations or those whose primary purpose is to influence legislation, political view-point or promotion of a particular candidateGeneral operating fundsOrganizations are limited to one grant per 12-month period (except schools)
