Vision StatementWelcome to the McBeth Foundation The McBeth Foundation was created by our founder, artist and philanthropist, Barbara McBeth Woodruff (1924-2007). To continue her legacy and in accordance with her vision, the Foundation makes meaningful grants for the benefit of animal welfare, the environment, the arts, children, health sciences, and communications. Of particular interest are programs and projects which provide measurable improvement, rather than general funding. Grants will be made to local organizations, primarily in the geographical areas in which the Foundation has a presence. How We Give McBeth Grants are awarded to projects that will grow to benefit more than a single individual. Like a seed that grows to a tree, that then provides multiple benefits of shade, fruit and additional seeds; this is how we like to see grant funding used.
