Program Overview:
Micro-grants for organizational MCA members to support events, campaigns, or projects aligned with people-centered solutions to the climate crisis.

Geographic Scope

• Miami/South Florida (implied)

Focus Areas

• Community events
• Campaigns
• Projects supporting people-centered solutions to climate crisis
• Examples include:
  • Food for community events
  • Cooling supplies
  • Materials for youth art programs
  • Venue and supplies for climate education
  • Volunteer stipends

Eligibility

• Organizational members of Miami Climate Alliance
• Not eligible if organization received a micro-grant in the last 12 months (lower priority)

Award Details

• Up to $1,500 per calendar year
• Funds limited; selection criteria depend on fund availability

2. Summary of the event in email body
3. Amount of funding request
4. Description of how funds will be used

Application Timeline:

• Rolling basis (applications accepted continuously)
• Payments take at least 14 days to process

Priority Consideration:

• Organizations that have not received a micro-grant in the last 12 months will be prioritized

Membership Requirement:

• Applicant organization must be an MCA member
