MBF Special Projects Grants

The Massachusetts Bar Foundation (MBF) offers Special Projects Grants to support initiatives that enhance access to civil legal aid and improve the administration of justice. These grants are available for projects that may not meet the traditional eligibility criteria of the IOLTA Grants Program, but align with the MBF’s mission to ensure equal access to legal resources for all, especially vulnerable populations. From time to time, and as finances permit, the MBF considers funding requests that fall outside the eligibility requirements of the IOLTA Grants Program or outside the traditional grant cycle, but are consistent with the MBF’s overall mission of increasing access to civil legal aid, improving the administration of justice, or promoting an understanding of the law.
