MBC STEM-H Community College Scholarship
Award Amount: $5,000 per community college to distribute
Participating Community Colleges: 4 institutions

- Established July 7, 2015
- Available beginning fall semester
- Designed to prepare students for next-generation careers in high-tech fields
- Each college receives $5,000 to distribute to eligible students
Program Details
- Currently enrolled at one of the four participating community colleges
- Pursuing degree in STEM-H field
- High school GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Graduate of one of the 33 qualifying high schools in Southside Tobacco Region within MBC footprint

Application Process
- Apply directly through your community college
- Each of the four community colleges (CVCC, DCC, PHCC, SVCC) manages distribution and selection of recipients
- Maintain minimum 3.2 high school GPA
- Enroll in STEM-H program at participating community college
- Proof of enrollment at participating community college
- Evidence of STEM-H field of study
- High school diploma from qualifying institution
- High school transcript showing 3.2+ GPA
