Geographic Scope: Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) churches in Missouri

Program Overview:
In 2022, the Missouri Baptist Foundation recognized a need to support Missouri Baptist Convention churches in overcoming financial barriers and helping churches expand, enhance, and improve their ministries through targeted projects and events. Since its inception, the foundation has received over 130 grant applications and has distributed more than $230,000 to MBC churches.

Funding Amount: $5,000 per grant

Eligible Applicants:

Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) churches

Churches must be members of the Missouri Baptist Convention

Creation of community parks

Remodeling of Awana children's spaces

Relocation of nursery areas

Repairs to baptisteries

Establishment of internships

Organization of block parties

Eligibility Restrictions:

Recipients of a $5,000 grant from the previous year are not eligible for that year's funding but may reapply the following year

The application period is currently closed. Grant recipients will be announced on the website, through social media, and during the Missouri Baptist Foundation report at the 2025 MBC Annual Meeting in Branson on October 28th, 2025.
