NOTE: Grant applications of $25,000 or less completed and submitted by the deadlines above will usually be awarded or denied by the timeframe here. Grant applications over $25,000 are reviewed as received and may be awarded at any time during the year. Applications received after November 1 will generally be considered in the following calendar year. The Mays Family Foundation is committed to supporting the communities in which we live, work and serve through causes that aid, empower, enrich and educate. Our Values & Mission Working together and as a family, we've come together to adopt a mission statement, like the creed our patriarch, Lowry Mays, wrote over 30 years ago when he founded Clear Channel Communications. This embodies the values which Peggy and Lowry Mays have lived by and give to their children and grandchildren to guide and direct the Mays family for generations to come. Ineligibility

The Foundation does not issue grants or other funding to individuals.The Foundation does not issue grants or other funding to partisan political groups or lobbying efforts.As codified in Internal Revenue Regulations, no gift from the Foundation may result in any benefit to "disqualified persons" which in this instance is comprised of the Board of the Foundation and Managing Director and their family members such as spouse, children (and their spouses) and grandchildren (and their spouses). Accordingly, memberships, dues, or other requests that by their nature provide such benefit should not be made to the Foundation.
