Mary J. Mullarkey Scholarship Grant

The Mary J. Mullarkey Scholarship, funded by The Denver Foundation, supports students of color, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals pursuing law degrees at accredited U.S. law schools. Eligible candidates must be graduating with an undergraduate degree from an accredited Colorado college or St. Norbert College, demonstrate financial need, and show academic excellence along with community contributions. One scholarship of up to $10,000 is awarded annually based on these criteria, promoting diversity in legal education.

The Mary J. Mullarkey Scholarship supports students graduating with an undergraduate degree from an accredited Colorado college/university or from St. Norbert College and who are entering law school for the upcoming fall semester. Scholarships shall be awarded to one or more students who, through their work experience, volunteer experience, and/or coursework, have demonstrated a commitment to sex equality in the law, including, without limitation, in the area(s) of sex discrimination, equal pay, reproductive rights, and/or gender violence.

Eligibility

Graduating undergraduate student from a Colorado post-secondary institution, Reed College or St. Norbert CollegeWill be enrolled at an accredited U.S. law school in the fall of 2026
