Marion Kellum Performing Arts Scholarship Grant

The Marion Kellum Performing Arts Scholarship, administered by the Crown Point Community Foundation, aims to support graduating high school seniors pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts or related degrees. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and documented involvement in at least five theatre productions. This non-renewable scholarship provides essential financial assistance to nurture talent in the performing arts, enhancing the cultural landscape of South Lake County.

Note: Students will only need to submit one application that will be used to determine their eligibility for over 100 scholarships.

Scholarships
The Crown Point Community Foundation is the financial administrator of over 80 scholarship funds created by generous community donors. Scholarship criteria is chosen by the donor. The scholarship committee reviews all submitted applications and makes recommendations based on the criteria of each scholarship.

Eligibility

For Graduating High School SeniorsCriteria:Scholarship Type 1:CPHS graduating student;minimum 3.0 GPA;must have documented completion of involvement in at least 5 theatre productions (either on stage, backstage, or any combination) from CPHS;pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at any accredited college or universityIf no one meets the criteria in the last bullet point, the following criteria may be considered in the order of priority:1. pursuing a minor in Theatre Arts at any accredited college or university;2. pursuing a degree at any accredited college, university, or trade school*Scholarship Type 2: CPHS graduating student;minimum 3.0 GPA; must have documented completion of involvement in at least 5 theatre productions (either on stage, backstage, or any combination) from CPHS;pursuing a degree at any accredited college, university, or trade school
