To support artists in the local community, established in memory of Marianna L. Hofer who loved the arts and those who create it.

About Marianna L. Hofer

Marianna L. Hofer passed away in May 2017. Prior to her death, she requested that an endowment fund be established to support the artists in the Findlay community.

Background:

Taught writing at the University of Findlay for 32 years

Dedicated educator and mentor to students

Avid artist and community supporter

Had a studio in the Jones Building, sharing space with other artists

Active participant in spring and fall Art Walks

Accomplished black and white film photographer

Poetry was her greatest passion

Eligibility

• Local artists in Findlay/Hancock County area

Focus Areas

• Support for artists in any discipline (visual arts, photography, poetry, performance, etc.)
