The Board meets four times a year (February, May, August and November) to consider awarding grants. No electronic submissions will be accepted. All applicants will be notified in writing of the board's decisions. If you have questions not addressed here, send them to the grant coordinator. The Margaret Beelard Community Foundation Board is dedicated to meeting the philanthropic goals of Margaret (Mig) Beelard. The residents of Vacaville and Solano County are the people she wanted to help. Mig was an elementary school teacher, and many of her goals had a focus on education—especially for programs benefiting children. She also wanted to alleviate the suffering of the poor and to help with cancer research.
