Mission Inspired by our Christian faith, the March Family Foundation seeks to partner with organizations that provide care and development for children and youth, enhance theological education and formation, and support those who work for justice and mercy in our broken world. Grantmaking We highly value organizations that can clearly state measurable outcomes with an effective action plan outlined to achieve these outcomes. Organizations must fall into one of the following categories: YouthWe strive to give youth a healthy foundation that will provide for a viable future.Organizations should seek to solve at least one of these problems:Lack of basic needs and rights (education, food, shelter)Healthy development of young peopleAbuse and/or neglectPovertyLack of role models, information and guidance Spiritual FormationOur hope is for people to have a healthy spiritual life and a hope and purpose in Christ so they can do God’s work and spread the word of God. Organizations should strive to make an impact in at least one of the following areas:Bible studyTheological educationTransforming the self and the worldChristian leadershipMinisterial formation/church revitalizationPrison ministriesThe ChurchValuing Human WorthWe believe every human has a right to his or her own body, a right to have food and a right to have shelter. Organizations should seek to solve at least one of these problems:Human and sexual traffickingBasic needs (poverty, hunger, education, homelessness)DiseaseEligibility

Eligible Organizations:501 (c) 3Faith based organizations (including churches)Geographic focusThe foundation will accept grant requests from the Twin Cities metro area and from global organizations. The foundation will make a small amount of trustee grants. Trustee grants are grants selected by family members based on needs within their local communities, which could be outside of the Twin Cities metro area.
