Manufacturing PA Industrial Resource Center Program The Manufacturing PA – Industrial Resource Center (IRC) program helps manufacturers compete more effectively through the adoption of modern manufacturing philosophies, techniques, and technologies. The program supports a network of Centers that serve as resources for technology implementation in every region of the Commonwealth and serves the state’s small and medium-sized manufacturing industries. Uses The grant funds may be used for reasonable salary and other personnel expenses, leased space for operational purposes, travel, administrative, equipment, supplies and other expenses associated with the development and delivery of IRC services.Eligibility

Eligible Uses of FundsFunding is provided to the Centers for the goal of primarily serving small to mid-sized manufacturers across the commonwealth. The Centers will deliver a wide array of outreach and services designed to strengthen the capacity of manufacturers to compete in the global economy and to encourage growth/expansion.In addition, IRCs will direct appropriate resources to the priority industries identified in the Ten-Year Strategic Plan for Economic Development in Pennsylvania: Agriculture; Energy; Life Sciences; Manufacturing; Robotics and TechnologyFunding may be utilized to sustain existing IRC programs as well as to develop new and creative initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the manufacturing community.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
