Making a Difference for San Diego Grant Program

The Making a Difference for San Diego Grant Program provides grants to deserving nonprofit organizations in San Diego County that provide much-needed services to diverse communities and create or elevate new programs that make a significant difference.

Funding History:

• 2018: $1.2 million granted to 15 organizations
• 2019: $1.2 million granted to 19 organizations
• More than 150 nonprofits typically apply each year

• Providing funding for much-needed services to diverse communities

• Supporting organizations addressing critical community needs

Eligibility

• Must be a nonprofit organization serving San Diego County
• Minimum of 10 organizations selected annually

Selection Process:

• Applications are reviewed and evaluated
• Awards are announced annually
