LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC) Established in 1973, the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational and leadership opportunities for students across the United States and Puerto Rico. LNESC provides scholarships, educational programming, resources, and leadership development designed to empower students to become lifelong learners and leaders. Through its network of 16 education centers, the organization delivers comprehensive programming that includes college access support, STEM education, digital literacy, tutoring, field trips, and other enrichment activities. These initiatives help ensure students are prepared to graduate and succeed in their careers and communities. LNESC’s impact is strengthened through partnerships with leading corporations and organizations that share a commitment to equitable access to education and leadership development for students nationwide. Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund The Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund is a joint partnership between LNESC & Macy’s to provide financial resources to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary need that, if not met, could result in an inability to complete classes or a degree program. Emergency financial need resulting from the following will qualify students for funding: Change in family income/supportLoss of jobDeath of an immediate family memberNatural disasterPending eviction or home foreclosureBurglaryFire Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Funds are non-renewable and must be applied to tuition and/or education-related costs. Applicants cannot be recipients of other LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC) Scholarships at the time of application. Award amounts vary based on need, but should not exceed $500.Eligibility
