Mission

The Luca S. Calanni Foundation celebrates the life and legacy of Luca Calanni by following his example of kindness and caring. The foundation helps all children experience the joys of participating in sports, camps, the arts and other activities.

Background

Luca Calanni passed away on January 11, 2020, from flu-related complications at age 11. Since inception, The Luca S. Calanni Foundation has provided over $300,000 in grants to organizations across Western New York.

Applications are reviewed 4 times per year:
• Q1: Due February 15 by 5 p.m.
• Q2: Due May 14 by 5 p.m.
• Q3: Due August 16 by 5 p.m.
• Q4: Due November 15 by 5 p.m.
