Overview

Purpose of this Grant The purpose of this grant opportunity is to prevent incidents of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence by providing immediate shelter and supportive services for adult and youth victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence (and their dependents), and that may provide prevention services to prevent future incidents of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence. Match Leverage Resources The prospective grantees receiving DHS funding are encouraged to leverage match resources under this solicitation. When submitting a proposal, the prospective grantee(s) are encouraged to indicate how they intent match the requested funding with leveraged resources. Sources of Matched Leveraged Resources: Cash: any funds that come from private, federal or local (non DHS) public sources that support program activities.  In-kind: contribution of time, service, or goods made by a donor to help support the operations or services provided by your organization and real property (land or buildings) owned or leased by the provider that houses or supports program activities.
