Local 280 Brotherhood Fund

Overview: The Brotherhood Program exists to help members through difficult times, including illness, loss of income, rehab, or the tragedy of losing a loved one. The program is supported entirely by donations and merchandise sales.

    Services Provided

  • Financial assistance up to $5,000 per year per member
  • Gestures of care such as cards or flowers when a member is hospitalized or has passed away

    Eligibility

  • Active members in good standing can apply directly
  • Non-members may apply on behalf of a member (support must go to the member or their immediate family)

  • Maximum: $5,000 per year
  • All requests subject to available funds and Executive Board approval
