Overview

Loan Repayment Program

Purpose: Support and recognize Altru employees by alleviating financial student loan burden, help recruit employees and fill high-need jobs while keeping talent in North Dakota.

Geographic Scope: North Dakota or within 50 miles of the border

Qualified Loan Repayment Positions:

  • Athletic Trainers

  • Cardiac Sonographers

  • Echo Techs

  • Medical Lab Specialists/Medical Lab Techs

  • Respiratory Therapists

  • RN or LPN (inpatient only)

  • Surgical Techs

  • Ultrasound Techs

  • Vascular Techs

    • Program Eligibility:

  • Must be employee at least 24 months or less at the time of application

  • Must live in North Dakota or within 50 miles of the border for the duration of receiving financial support

  • Hold a balance on a non-defaulted student loan

    • Employment Commitment:

  • Employees must remain employed, full-time (0.8 FTE and above) for 3 years
