Lizzy Devlin Scholarship Fund
Established: 2019
Background: Elizabeth Rose Devlin ("Lizzy") passed away on April 16, 2016 from Substance Use Disorder at the age of 23. In response, Lizzy's family partnered with the Amber Reineck House to support recovery efforts and prevent other families from experiencing similar loss.
Geographic Scope: Livingston County, Michigan residents only
Award: Recipients will have their intake fees and first month's rent paid while continuing their recovery in a long-term accredited recovery home
Focus Areas: Substance Use Disorder recovery; financial support for recovery housing
- Residency: Must be a resident of Livingston County, Michigan
- Demographics: Men and women
- Requirements: Strong desire to live a recovery lifestyle and give back to the recovery community
- Housing: Must be seeking recovery housing through Home of New Vision in Ann Arbor or other qualified recovery services provider partners approved by Amber Reineck House Board
