Lisa A. Cudahy Community Health Grant

Funder: Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation (WWHF)

Purpose: Through the Lisa A. Cudahy Community Health Grants, WWHF strives to promote and assist nonprofit community organizations committed to education and outreach in women's health.

Focus Areas:

  • Women's health education and outreach

  • Innovative and impactful women's health programming

  • Domestic abuse support and transitional housing

  • Parent education and healthy relationship education

  • Breast cancer and breast health education

  • Ovarian cancer support and awareness

  • Maternal health and child development
  • Eligibility:

  • Nonprofit community organizations

  • Organizations dedicated to education, outreach, and innovative approaches to women's health

  • Local nonprofits piloting or expanding programs
  • Geographic Scope: Wisconsin

    Award Frequency: Biennial (every two years). The next round of grants will be awarded in 2027.

  • Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services (CADASI), Oshkosh, WI - Transitional housing and support for survivors of domestic abuse

  • Choices Health Network, Ladysmith, WI - Parent Education Program & Healthy Relationship Education Program

  • SHE Thrives, Menomonee Falls, WI - Wellness & Education Day: breast cancer and breast health education focusing on equitable healthcare

  • Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance, New Berlin, WI - Support services for ovarian cancer education and awareness

  • Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee, WI - The Lullaby Project in partnership with Sojourner Family Peace Center
  • Philosophy: These grants are based on the premise that partnerships between WWHF and local nonprofit community organizations capitalize on the strengths and unique skills of each organization, creating stronger communities through combined statewide reach and local expertise.
