Award Amount: Full four-year tuition to an Indiana college or university of recipient's choice, plus $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment
Geographic Scope: Indiana (Starke County, Miami County, and Fulton County communities within Northern Indiana Community Foundation service area)
Eligibility:

Selection Process:
- Applications reviewed "blind" (identities removed)
- Five finalists selected for final review
- Finalists write impromptu essay and participate in personal interview with Scholarship Committee
- Committee narrows field to one nominee
- Final selection made by Independent Colleges of Indiana, Inc. (ICI)
Background:
Result of statewide Lilly Endowment initiative to help Hoosier students reach higher levels of education. Indiana ranks among lowest states in percentage of residents over age 25 with a bachelor's degree.
