Light The Way Scholarship

Award Amount: Up to $27,000, renewable all four years

Number of Awards: Up to 50 scholarships per year

Overview:
Awarded to incoming first-year and transfer students who utilize their abilities to Light the Way for others. Recognizes students who positively impact the world through community service to help people in need, innovation to improve society, or volunteering to heal our planet.

Eligibility:

Incoming first-year and transfer students

Must demonstrate positive impact through community service, innovation, or volunteerism

Renewal Criteria:

Must submit a 500-word reflection by March 1 each year describing how they fulfilled the mission of Light the Way

Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7

Students who fail to meet renewal criteria will be placed on probation for one year

If renewal criteria is not met in year 2, the student will forfeit the scholarship
