Levinus Clarkson Award

Description: Award given to recognize the top students in the graduating class based on scholarship and promise of outstanding achievement.

Award Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: Graduating senior students at Clarkson University who demonstrate exceptional scholarship and promise of outstanding professional achievement.

History: Established by University founders Elizabeth and Frederica Clarkson in memory of their brother, Levinus, and first awarded in 1909.

Selection Process: Selected by vote of the full University faculty. This award is traditionally given to one of the two top students in the graduating class.
