Level 2 NAR Diversity Reimbursement Grant

The Level 2 NAR Diversity Reimbursement Grant provides up to $5000 for state and local REALTOR® associations to enhance diversity and inclusion within their leadership. This grant supports workshops, strategic planning, and collaborative efforts aimed at addressing racial injustices and promoting equity. Associations may receive one grant per year, with funds disbursed through a reimbursement process. Activities must be completed within the grant approval year to qualify for reimbursement.

NOTE: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis starting in January until NAR funding commitment level is reached
The REALTOR® Party
Since the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) hired its first lobbyist in 1973, America’s largest trade association has been working together to advance public policies and candidates that build strong communities, protect property interests and promote a vibrant business environment. In 2010-2011, NAR ramped up its efforts at the state and local levels by launching the REALTOR® Party Initiative. This included grants and tools to help state and local REALTOR® Associations run candidate and issue campaigns, and implement smart growth, housing opportunity and diversity programs, and much more.
As the only advocacy group in America that fights exclusively for property ownership, real estate investment, and strong communities, the REALTOR® Party is not focused on a side of the aisle; it is focused on the issues that matter to existing and future property owners and the real estate industry.
Level 2 Diversity grants (up to $5000) are available to support state and local REALTOR® association efforts aimed at increasing diversity and inclusion among leadership in the association. Associations can use this grant for discussions or workshops with specific learning outcomes and educational value, or for planning activities that integrate diversity and inclusion into their core work. The grant may also be used to advance diversity and inclusion in strategic planning, assessment, and implementation processes. Activities should focus on increasing diversity among association leadership and addressing racial injustice issues in the community. Associations are encouraged to collaborate with other organizations to help achieve their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

Grant approval notifications will be sent approximately 7 to 10 business days after submission.Associations may receive one Level 2 grant per calendar year.Funds are disbursed using a reimbursement process.Approved activity must take place within same year of grant approval to be eligible for funding reimbursement.Grant recipients must complete an evaluation form for the supported activity.
