The Appalachian College Association's Ledford Scholars Program provides financial support to undergraduate students to work on significant research projects during summer or fall terms.
Geographic Scope: Available to students from ACA member institutions (18 participating institutions in 2026)

- Engaged in significant research projects
Award Details:
- Financial support provided to students
- Students work on research projects with faculty mentors at their home institutions
- Upon completion, scholars provide video presentations of research findings
- Video presentations are recognized and made available on ACA website
