Appalachian College Association Ledford Scholars Award

The Appalachian College Association (ACA), a consortium of ~35 independent colleges/universities in Central Appalachia, runs the Ledford Scholars Program, which provides undergraduate students financial support to conduct a significant faculty-mentored research project during the summer or fall term. FIA: Fact -- the 2026 program selected 45 students from 18 ACA institutions; scholars complete a research project with a faculty mentor and produce a video presentation. ELIGIBILITY FLAG: applicants must be undergraduates enrolled at an ACA member institution (member-institution-gated).
