Leadership Development Award  – Engaged Leadership Academy (ELA) The CAP’s Engaged Leadership Academy (ELA) is a communication and leadership course exclusively for CAP members to develop skills not learned in clinical training. In this practical, interactive weekend workshop, members improve communication and public speaking skills, increase their confidence to lead their institutions, and practice the nuances to effectively engage clinical colleagues, administrators, government agencies, and advocacy groups. Available Funding Registration fee and expenses, up to $500, for CAP Fellows (new in practice pathologists; 1 to 5 years) to attend the Engaged Leadership Academy, (a professional development and leadership course).Applicants should have authorization from their institution to attend the meeting.
