Mission: The Lawrence REALTORS® Community Foundation (LBOR Community Foundation) awards grants annually to support locally-based charitable organizations and their programs that create a stronger community through housing.

  • Must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with IRS Non-Profit Tax ID
  • Preference given to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
  • Applicants must agree to distribute funds in relation to the Lawrence REALTORS® Community Foundation Mission Statement
  • Local organizations serving Douglas County, Kansas

    Not Eligible

  • Individuals
  • Organizations that discriminate based on race, color, creed, age, sex, disability, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, and national or ethnic origin
  • Programs outside of Douglas County, KS
  • Purchase of tickets or tables at special events
  • Memberships or advertising
  • Political campaigns
  • Endowment funds
  • Criminal fees

    Additional Requirements

  • Official 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS required
  • All applications subject to evaluation by the Lawrence REALTORS® Community Foundation Board of Trustees
  • A request to apply for funding does not guarantee that a grant will be awarded
