Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a 501(c)(3) organization with current certificate
  • Must be registered as a not-for-profit with Georgia Secretary of State
  • Must have been operational for at least two years
  • Must have had minimum revenue of $1,000,000 in 2024
  • NOT eligible if your organization received funding from the Charity Guild in 2025 (may reapply in November 2026)

Required Documentation

  • Basic organization information including mission statement and population served
  • Detailed outline of how grant money would be spent
  • Current certificate of 501(c)(3) status
  • Proof of registry of not-for-profit status with GA Secretary of State
  • Two most recent audited financial statements that have been filed
  • Two most recent IRS Form 990s that have been filed

Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted electronically (no hard copies accepted)
  • Gmail account required to apply
  • First 18 qualified and completed applications will be considered for funding
  • Voting: Guild membership votes to select recipients (voting occurs in January)
  • Winners announced shortly after January voting
  • Early submission strongly recommended to secure ballot placement

  • Submitted financials must specifically reflect the financials of the 501(c)(3) organization applying
  • If application contains errors or omissions, applicant must reapply using a different Gmail account

1. Prepare Required Documentation:

5. Review and Resubmission: If your application has errors or omissions, you will be asked to reapply using a different Gmail account
