Overview
The Country Club of the South Charity Guild's 2026 goal includes funding 'three Small Grant charities for $10,000 each.' 'Small Grant organizations must have been operational for two years and must have had minimum revenue of $100,000 and no more than $999,999 in 2024.' The first 9 qualified and completed applications for Small Grants are considered for funding. The Small Grant application requires basic organization information, a detailed outline of how the grant money would be spent, a current 501(c)(3) certificate, proof of registry with the GA Secretary of State, and the two most recent IRS Form 990s — 990EZ forms are also accepted. All information must be submitted electronically, no hard copies are accepted, and a Gmail account is required to apply. Organizations funded by the Charity Guild in 2025 are not eligible in this cycle. 'The Large Grant Application is now CLOSED... We are still accepting Small Grant Applications.'
How to Apply
Small Grant Applications are still being accepted at the time of capture — the Guild's grant page carries a 'Small Grant Instructions + App' link. Applications are submitted entirely electronically; no hard copies are accepted and a Gmail account is required. The first 9 qualified and completed Small Grant applications are considered for funding, so apply promptly to get a spot on the ballot. Required: basic organization information including mission statement and population served; a detailed outline of how the grant money would be spent; a current certificate of 501(c)(3) status; proof of registry of not-for-profit status with the GA Secretary of State; and the two most recent IRS Form 990s filed (990EZ forms are accepted). Submitted financials must specifically reflect the financials of the applying 501(c)(3). An application with errors or omissions must be re-submitted using a different Gmail account. Guild membership votes in January. Questions go to application@charityguild.org.
