Lake Parks Foundation Scholarships

  • Program Description:
    The Lake Parks Foundation provides scholarships and camperships to students to participate in educational programs and activities at Lake Metroparks. More than 1,000 students are annually awarded scholarships and camperships. In 2024, over 1,050 school children participated in learning experiences at Lake Metroparks with foundation support.

  • Group classrooms of all sizes

  • Past Recipients (2024):

  • Re-Education Services: 15-45 students

  • Summit Academy: 75 students

  • Huron Primary: 87 students (Operation Worm Watch), 87 students (Soap Bubble Chemistry)

  • Salvation Army: 20 students per program (multiple programs)

  • Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland: 18 students
