Overview

Lahontan Community Foundation (LCF) was founded in 2002 by the members, homeowners, and employees of the Lahontan Community in Truckee. LCF’s mission is to bring the Lahontan community together to have fun and raise as much money as possible to support the good works of local nonprofit organizations making a difference in the Truckee-North Tahoe region. Each year in late winter/early spring, LCF awards grants through a competitive grant cycle to nonprofit organizations working toward the betterment of Truckee and North Lake Tahoe communities.

Ineligibility

Applications for direct religious activities; political activism such as lobbying, legislative activities, or legal action; organizations that discriminate based on race, color, creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin will not be considered.
