LA Cocina Culinary Youth Training Program

Geographic Scope: Los Angeles, CA (under-resourced communities)

Target Audience: Young people ages 16-24 from under-resourced communities interested in restaurant and hospitality industries

Program Details:

• Duration: 10 weeks, bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Format: Hands-on cooking classes with certified training
• Certification: ServSafe certification through National Restaurant Association and ANSI (American National Standard Institute)
• Class Schedule: Tuesdays, 11am-1pm
• Focus Areas: Kitchen safety basics, recipe execution, workforce preparation
