Who we are The Kyle Palmieri Foundation is a nonprofit corporation with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) founded by New York Islanders forward Kyle Palmieri. Our mission is to give back to the patriots who put their lives on the line to preserve our freedoms as Americans. While there is no way to adequately thank active and veteran service members and their families for the sacrifices they have made, we do our best to show our sincerest appreciation by raising funds for programs that benefit the military community. The Kyle Palmieri Foundation’s sole purpose is to support those who have given the greatest sacrifice. With this in mind, we award select non-profit organizations serving Long Island’s military community with grant money each year.
