About

The Kugelman Family Foundation, originally founded by Jack Kugelman’s parents, Edgar and Sylvia, took its current form in Pensacola in the 1980s. Following the closing of the family’s Standard Distributing Company, Jack and Jane Kugelman made a very important decision to begin the foundation and keep the giving strictly to the local Pensacola community. They were both very proud of Pensacola and hoped to help continue moving the city forward. They have made many contributions in the areas of health care and education, as well as other worthy causes. This was the true beginning of the family foundation and is continued today by grandchildren: Jane Lauter (President), David Foster (VP & Treasurer) & Sarah Ryan (VP & Secretary). The focus is on Pensacola and giving back to continue the legacy of the importance the Kugelman Family name.
