NOTE: Applications received after March 15th will be considered in the subsequent fiscal year. Mission The mission of the Foundation is to carry out the wishes of the late Koster family by providing grants to tax exempt organizations for the following purposes: Providing scholarships and financial assistance to musically talented children and young adults in their musical pursuits;Promoting the preservation of Yiddish culture, including, but not limited to, the Yiddish language, theater, and scholarship;Assisting immigrants to the United States, especially Jewish immigrants, by providing housing, language, job training and other services to them.
