Overview

KM Education Foundation The Kettle Moraine Education Foundation's mission is to inspire students and educators by raising the support of our community and business partners to create educational opportunities that build academic and personal success. Through the community and this foundation, our vision is to eliminate boundaries by providing resources so every student has a path to success; every teacher has the support needed to inspire; and every administrator has the ways and means to lead. KMEF Scholarship Fund The Kettle Moraine Scholarship Fund was established in 1973 to assist Kettle Moraine graduates in pursuing education beyond high school at accredited institutions. The Fund receives its support from individuals and organizations within the community. The Fund and its affiliated donor organizations attempt to provide assistance to as many KM graduates as possible. Donor organizations set their own criteria and in most cases select their own recipients. An application for a KMEF Scholarship Fund scholarship automatically includes consideration for several different scholarships. The amount and number of the scholarships varies from year to year based on availability of funds and on the specific criteria of donors. The scholarship application for seniors is posted in mid-December each year, and applications are due in mid-March. Applications are reviewed by many selection committees that include members of the KMEF Scholarship Fund Committee and/or representatives of the major funding groups. Family members are involved in the selection of many memorial scholarships. One-time scholarships range from $500 - $3,000 each.
