Overview

The Kids in Motion Grant Program by The Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation aims to empower underserved children in Indian River County, Florida, through health, fitness, nutrition, and enrichment initiatives. This initiative encourages schools and community organizations to enhance their programs by promoting lifelong healthy habits and offering safe environments for children to thrive. The Foundation supports over 2,400 children, fostering positive youth development through active participation in various activities including tennis, dance, and sports.

Currently, MFCF supports over 2,400 children throughout Indian River County, Florida by funding after-school exercise, nutritional and enrichment programs in a safe environment to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives.
The purpose of The Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation – Kids in Motion Grant is to assist Schools & Community Based Organizations in initiating, expanding, or enhancing their health, fitness, nutrition, or enrichment programs.
Absolute Priority
Additionally, this program requires that an applicant propose a program that will address healthy habits, progressive tennis skills, life skills, physical fitness and nutrition for youth.
