Our Mission The mission of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina is to provide educational scholarships to children of South Carolina workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident. Eligibility

Applicants must have a parent or guardian who has been seriously or fatally injured in a work-related accident, where benefits have been paid in accordance with the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act.Applicant must be between 16-25 years old at the time of the application.Applicant must be accepted or already enrolled at: a trade/vocational school;industrial/commercial training;junior college/community college;undergraduate program at a college; or a graduate program at a college.Applicant must have completed the FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid – for students attending a 2-year or 4-year college or university.Returning applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to re-apply.
