Ministry Scholars Program Application Process

Step 1: Check Requirements and Prerequisites

Maintain minimum 3.00 GPA

Earn grade of "C" or better in CAS courses meeting seminary requirements

During fall semester of fourth year (senior standing), demonstrate character and competency for graduate-level education

Obtain approval from Ministry Scholars program director for program continuance

Step 2: Apply to College of Arts & Sciences

Complete undergraduate application to CAS

Note: Applicants cannot be selected as Ministry Scholars until admitted to CAS, but can submit Ministry Scholars application before CAS acceptance for simultaneous review

Step 3: Apply to Ministry Scholars Program

Complete the Ministry Scholars Program Application

Applications typically accepted through junior year

Submit reference form to one pastoral reference

Submit reference form to one personal reference

May be invited to interview with Ministry Scholars Program Director and/or Seminary Dean

Interview and application materials form basis for acceptance decision
