Junior Force Dance Program Scholarship

Program Overview:
The Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation offers scholarships to ensure equal inclusion in the Junior Force Dance Program for participants who may not have the financial means to register.

Geographic Scope: DMV (Washington, DC metropolitan area)

Target Population:

• Young dancers ages 5-17
• Families with financial need

What is Covered:
Scholarships cover all program costs, including:

• Registration fees
• Performance uniform fees
• Tuition for seven months of instruction
• Game performance tickets

Program Details:
The Junior Force Dance Program provides an enriching experience focused on self-esteem, teamwork, commitment, and fun for young Commanders fans. The program runs July-November and offers opportunities to:

• Perform choreography at various DMV events
• Perform on the field at Washington Commanders games
• Participate in monthly clinics led by Command Force dancers
• Participate in community outreach initiatives
• Perform at pregame and halftime shows

Eligibility:

• Ages 5-17
• Demonstrated financial need
• All ability levels welcome (from beginners to experienced dancers)

Scholarship Limitations:
Scholarships are limited in availability.

Application Process

Nomination Process:

• Scholarships are nomination-based (not direct applications)
• Parents or guardians must nominate a participant

Steps:

1. Email JuniorForce@commanders.com with nomination
2. Provide participant information and demonstration of financial need
3. Submit by August 1st for the upcoming season

• Description of financial circumstances/need
