Vital Life Foundation and Wish of a Lifetime from AARP have partnered to create Journey of Heroes—an initiative that uplifts and honors senior U.S. military veterans by offering a meaningful, community-centered experience rooted in connection, healing, and purpose.

- Experience: 4-day trip to Washington, DC
- Travel Dates (2026): April 27–30, 2026
- Activities: Veterans, companions, volunteers, and staff participate in intentional moments of cama················, storytelling, and shared remembrance at national landmarks
